How are items collected and delivered?
There’s a reason moving house is up there with divorce as one of the most stressful things a person can do: logistics can be painful. Not so with Harth. That’s our commitment.
Teaming up with some of the best logistics partners around, we understand the art of getting big, precious or complicated things safely into their intended spaces.
Once a rental has been agreed, we will work with the lender and borrower to schedule collection and delivery. All packaging will be taken away and if an installation is required, this will be handled with care by experienced professionals.
If multiple items have been borrowed from multiple lenders, we will endeavour to consolidate them into as few deliveries as possible. When rentals come to an end, we arrange for the items to be collected, re-packaged and returned - or taken to the next borrower.

What about returns?
When rentals come to an end, we arrange for the items to be collected, re-packaged and returned - or taken to the next borrower. No fuss.
How much does it cost?
We have put in place a standard pricing system that we believe is fair to both lenders and borrowers, with the borrowing cost determined by the recommended retail price (RRP) of the item.
Under standard pricing, the first month of a rental is charged at 7% of the item's RRP. If the RRP is unknown, the insured value of the item will be used instead. Subsequent monthly fees are then fixed at 3.5%.
The final decision on any rental always remains with the lender. Lenders also have the option to set their own rates, if the standard pricing is not suitable for their needs.
Before committing to a rental, the borrower will be provided with one-off costs for delivery and any other services that may be required.
Where does the money go?
Only a fraction of the fees end up with Harth - the lender receives the lion's share, just like they should. Harth receives a 10% commission on each monthly payment to the lender, while the borrower pays a service charge to Harth on top of the monthly rental fee.
